Description

Arthroscopic procedures are minimally invasive surgeries used to diagnose and treat problems within a joint. The term "arthroscopy" comes from the Greek words "arthro," meaning joint, and "skopein," meaning to look. In this procedure, a small camera called an arthroscope is inserted into the joint through a small incision. This allows the surgeon to view the inside of the joint on a screen and make repairs using small instruments.
